Hi Marco,

I’m writing to draw your attention to a unique new Wordpress plugin that I think your readers will be interested in. Confident CAPTCHA is a clickable, picture CAPTCHA that stops spam and bots on blogs and websites, without burdening users. It’s a FREE web service that is much easier on users than those hard-to-read, distorted text CAPTCHAs that are used on most websites today. It simply presents the website visitor with a randomly generated grid of photos and instructs them to click on specific pictures to verify that they are human and not a bot. We just released the plugin for Wordpress here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-confident-captcha/. It’s also available for Joomla, Drupal, PHP, Python and ASP.NET.

Text-based CAPTCHAs used on many websites today cause so much user frustration that people often abandon the action they were taking, or abandon the website all together. Our image-based CAPTCHA is so much easier on people that it can help increase user interactions on blogs and conversions on business websites (while still being secure against bots).

Additionally, in the future, it will be able to be used as an advertising platform, allowing website owners and bloggers to earn revenue on their sites.
